Anderson Fair - Houston, Texas

I have been performing and recording with a really great bluegrass band in the Austin area - the Two High String Band.  I will be appearing with them at Anderson Fair in Houston, a long-time venue for acoustic musicians.  Hope you can make it.

Ruta Maya - Austin, Texas

Appearing again with the great group Two High String Band at the Austin cool spot - Ruta Maya.  I have been recording with the Two High String Band and the CD is moving along and is full of wonderful musicians playing wonderful music.  Come on down if you're in Austin.

Central Market North

The Two Hight String Band makes another appearance at this wonderful outdoor stage at the North Lamar location.  It a wonderful event last December - I had a great time - and will be more of the same this time.

Evangiline's - Austin, Texas

Playing music with Janice and Elliott Rogers at this fine Cajun food spot on South Congress in Austin - 7 pm - 11 pm.  Janice and Elliott sing beautiful harmonies on old traditional songs and Elliott's originals - maybe a banjo tune from time to time.

Old Settler's Festival - Dripping Springs, Texas

Slim Richey brought together several great bluegrass and jazz players to record his ground-breaking album "Jazz Grass" in the mid 1970s.  He is recreating the sounds of the music with an all-star band at the Old Settler's Festival near Dripping Springs.  Besides Slim on his firey jazz guitar, and Francie Meaux Jo on the leaping bass, are Warren Hood on mandolin, Alan Munde on banjo, Ross Holmes on fiddle, and others to be added.  Not to be missed.  www.ridgerunner.com

Hope, Ar. Bluegrass Festival

The Alan Munde Trio featuring Bill Honker on bass and vocals and Phill Elliott on guitar and vocals will be performing at this bluegrass festival at the City Park in Hope.  The festival starts at 1:00 p.m. and we will be on at 4:30 and 7:30.  Hope you can make it.  contact Gelnn Woodruff at 501-655-1239.

Evanglines - Austin, Tx.

Ranch Road 12 - Elliott Rogers; guitar and vocals; Janice Rogers; bass and vocals; and Alan Munde; banjo and baritone vocals on "Big Spike Hammer," and "How Mountain Girls Can Love."  This is especially fun for me because it is a lot of banjo a lot of the time - HEAVEN for the banjo lovers among us.  We start at 6 p.m. and go until 9 p.m.  Great cajun food to boot!

Midwest Banjo Camp - Olivet, Michigan

Hill Country Music Camp - Kerrville, Texas

Set in the beautifull hill country of Texas, this five day camp features a variety of styles and instruments. I will be teaching bluegrass banjo. This will be my 4th year at this event and it has been a reall pleasure each and every year. Also featured are Joe Carr, Gerald Jones, and many other great players/teachers. Camp Bluegrass - Levelland Texas

One of the grandaddy's of music camps, this event is in its 22nd year. The camp features instruction in all the bluegrass band instruments plus vocals. The banjo faculty is composed of me; long-time great and banjo legend, Eddie Adcock; "Banjo for Dummies," author and fantastic player, Bill Evams; Mr. Acoustic Plus, Gerald Jones; and "Big Bandjo" herself, Beth Mead directing the children's camp. Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival - East Hartford, Ct.

I will be appearing as a guest of banjo wizard Tony Trischka for a big banjo bash at this long running festival.  What fun this will be for me.  I love Tony and he is the IBMA banjo player of the year.  Who would not be excited?  There will be other players there with Tony.  Check with the East Hartford Parks and Recreation Department - 860-828-9818

American Banjo Camp - Fort Flagler, Washington

This will be my frist time at this long-running banjo music event.  On the bluegrass side of the faculty in addition to me are, Janet Davis, Bill Evans, Mike Stahlman, Bill Keith, and Peter Wernick.  The old-time banjo styles faculty are Bob Carlin, Brad Leftwich, Reed Martin, Cathy Barton Para, Laura Smith, and Ken Perleman.  www.AmericanBanjoCamp.com

Nash Camp Fall Banjo Retreat
